BALL RESTORATION SERVICES

Many customers send bowling balls to Phipps Bowling a variety of repair and restoration services. Whether you are for repair, size reduction, re-engraving or re-surfacing, we can help you make your old bowling balls look new again.

Below is a brief list of what we can do for your old bowling balls:

Restoration

Most bowling balls can be restored where the surface of the ball has been damaged. Large cuts and deeply damaged areas can be drilled and filled with an epoxy-based compoun. After the ball has been turned on al lathe and finished, the ball looks close to it's original state.

Restoration Cost: $10.00 per ball.

Diameter Reduction

For any reason, should you find your current ball is a bit too large, we can reduce the diameter of your ball to meet specification sizes while suiting your needs.

Diameter Reduction Cost: $10.00 per ball

Re-Engraving

Re-Engraving of previously engraved balls require minor turning down on a lathe and re-finishing, then re-engraving the ball. This is especially effective when bowling balls get old and worn, and some of the original engraving wears off.

Re-Engraving Cost: $13.00 per ball

Re-Surfacing

If a ball is in fairly good condition with a few minor scratches and dirt accumulation, we can re-surface bowling balls to restore them to their original shine and luster.

Re-surfacing Cost: $5.00 per ball
